About The Choir

Rockmount Choir has been among the foremost competitive choirs in Ireland for over 30 years, with a repertoire ranging from light entertainment and musicals, through sacred music, classical choral works and madrigals. In that time, they have won awards throughout  Ireland and the UK, as well as Verona in Italy.

Their annual Christmas concert has developed a reputation as a relaxed and enjoyable evening, incorporating Christmas favourites, well-known carols and showcasing their competition repertoire. In 2011, this concert included a rare performance of the cantata “A Saviour Born” by Cecil Armstrong Gibbs.
